A Look Into Our Process

You may be wondering, how do they do it? Making oil surely isn't a simple trade? Well, it isn't. But somehow we've got it down over the last few years with some trial and error. Luckily, our patriarch, Marko Radich has a lot of general experience with creating with all his time growing up on a farm, making smoked meat, wine, Croatian grappa, etc.

The Harvest


Every other October, our big family and friends come together to harvest the many trees in the Radich Orchard. This usually takes several long days. We gather tarps, and wack the trees so that the olives fall onto them. Yes you heard that right. From there we transfer the olives from the tarps to bins.


The Oil Making Process


From there, we gather the many bins and take them over to our local oil distillery. We did a lot of research into finding a facility that will make our oil, extra virgin, extra clean, and extra tasty. Once we sent the olives to the distillery, we wait. The process usually takes a week or so and once done, we get our oil back in steel oil drums provided by us. From there, we bottle the oil and have them sealed and labeled. After that, it is ready to be consumed.
